Called my cell phone.
Constantly calling about reducing my student loan. I have not had a student loan in 37 years and it was paid off. Another scam I'm sure.
They have called me more times that I can count. Now they are starting to call me from another number with my area code, and it is the same people. I told them one more call and I would file a lawsuit against them.

I do not know anything about why these people called me. I do appreciate that one of thir options was if you do not want us to call hit 2.

Or a scammer. People online use fake numbers that appear to be local to find identity theft victims. They call a number and if a person answers that means Their info is likely good. From there it's very easy to find info related to that number/associated person if they didn't already have it.
From some college that claims my husband filled out a survey asking them to call. He didn't. They have since called back again.

No message left. You know it's a scam when Caller ID is the letter V followed by a random series of #’s. # now blocked.
No message left but from reading above complaints this is definitely a scam. I never pick up my phone if I don't recognize the number. What is really funny is the area code is for Delaware on the east coast and I live on the west coast.

The fact that the caller ID apparently keeps changing for the same phone number indicates SCAM. "OFFICERS ASSN" this time. BLOCKED.

My caller ID shows United Officers. If you google this name you find it was a "nationalist secret society within the Argentine Army which staged a coup d'état in 1943 to overthrow President Ramón Castillo." Nice try! Looks like another donation scam to me! ¯_(?)_/¯
I checked with a state trooped chief and a Sheriff on my friends list, they both said it was a scam. These people called my mother and now are harassing her since she said she would send money. She does not have control of her money so no money is being sent but that won't stop them from calling.
I tracked this down to Marcelino Enterprises in Florida, run by Luis Marcelino. A former assistant sherrif's deputy, he was involved in an IAB investigation and now does solar telemarketing under the phony name of "advanced solar solutions" and he does "inspirational speaking". His FEI number is 82-1055336.
The caller ID said POL ASSOCIATION. When I answered, there was no answer so I just waited them out. The call was disconnected without anyone saying anything.
No one there when I answered, then a tone and disconnect.
Probably a robo-dialer running too fast for the scam or scum that are supposed to fleece us.
