It's a company called "Card Services" and they're totally legitimate. I think in this day and age of phishing and fraud, they could use a better name for their company, but whatever.
Anyway, they're a company that services many banks - one being Bank of America. I recently charged a ton of stuff from many different places and they put a security hold on the card until they could verify that these charges are legit (they were).
Like the first post, I also didn't trust this "Card Services" place so I called BofA customer service (number on the back of your card) and verified. I'm glad BofA is doing this. They're looking out for your best interest.
Same here. Little do these people that make these kind of calls know, is that the owner is not going to talk to anyone that he does not know. So might as well not call back. Ha Ha
Just received a call from this number, apparent telemarketing system. Called back and was told to hold for the next available agent but I decided not to hold so not sure what they are selling or how they got my number
just called, no message. Some scam I'm sure, when I called the number they told me that I had won a prize and that I could press "3" to be removed from the list for future calls. Of course, when I pressed "3", it told me that it was not a valid option. I hung up.
They call and left a voicemail saying
"Hey this is Matt I'm just trying to follow up with you again. I've actually been trying to reach you. Uh this is actually in regards to an online business model where you don't have to talk to anyone and you don't have to learn any marketing to be successful. We have a really automative system and that's how our retirees are having success even though they didn't have to even put it all together we do it for them. Um this isn't the final attempt I didn't want to count you out. So if you are serious about having a real way to make 5 figure come every couple of weeks. Then just make sure to go back to www.2019sys***.com. That's 2019 system .com. That's the numbers 2-0-1-9 and the word system s-y-s-t-e-m- dot com. 2019sys***.com again this is Matt hope to talk to you later and have a great day."
Scam. Do not go to the website he tells you to!!!
